Ken Munski gave us an update on the construction at Camp Rotary at last week's meeting.

He stated that the slabs for the final five cabins have been poured, and all systems are go for completing the project by Christmas.

The 500-gallon propane tank has been replaced with a 1000-gallon tank, which will allow us to fill it at any time of the year, thus capitalizing on lower propane prices.

It's good that we now have a caretaker employed who can check on the camp every now and then. We also have an electronic monitoring system, which will send an electronic message if a pipe bursts or the furnace malfunctions.

Ken extends his thanks to all who have helped make these updates possible. Next summer, Camp Rotary will be better than ever!
