The picnic tables need replaced and volunteers are needed to help do this is anyone is interested please reach out to John.

AUGUST SOCIAL AND FLOAT TRIP with GREAT FALLS SKI AND BOARD CLUB
AUGUST 3rd
ACTION REQUIRED
The Great Falls Ski & Board Club is letting our Rotary Club join them for their Annual Float on August 3rd.   We need to know how many Rotarians are attending to ensure we have enough food and transportation options. You will need to make sure your boat is able to return to original destination so please plan ahead if you're using your own watercraft, Chelle does not want to leave anyone behind.

Please fill out this link if you plan on attending

A conservation permit is required for any Montana recreational activities now, for your convenience I have included the link to purchase that online as well.

If you have any questions reach out to Chelle at chellef@esgw.org.

Rotary Year 2024-24 Volume 1, Issue 1

Montana Rotary Gives

All Your Rotary Foundations Working in the World
Welcome to the inaugural issue of Montana Rotary Gives, the quarterly newsletter for Montana's Rotary District 5390 Foundation. This newsletter will showcase how Rotarians throughout Montana give back to our communities and the world, and share exciting news about the District Foundation, The Rotary Foundation and The Paul Harris Society.

District Grants coming to a Rotary Club near you

Good news! The Rotary Foundation has approved District 5390's District Grant pool for Rotary Year 2024-25. These funds, together with the allocation from the District 5390 Foundation (2023-24 raffle proceeds) will result in district grant distributions to Montana Rotary Clubs and district projects this year in excess of$110,000. If your club applied for a Grant this year, it should be arriving sometime in August.

Bob Henry of Butte wins raffle grand prize
image

Bob Henry, a member of the Rotary Club of Butte, won the District 5390 Spectacular Raffle Grand Prize in a drawing held at the District Celebration in Missoula May 18. The Grand Prize, a custom made "Bigfoot" teardrop camping trailer, donated by Sherpa Trailers of Libby and the Rotary Club of Kootenai Valley.

This year our raffle plowed new ground in our district.  In the past, grant funding sources relied only on Rotary International's District Directed Funds (DDF) to support our district grants. Due to the generosity of Montana Rotarians and their friends who bought tickets to our raffle, the Foundation was able to combine the raffle proceeds (Drumroll please -- $35,085) with the DDF money and award over $105,000 in 2024-25 District Grants to Montana Rotary Clubs in support of charitable and civic work in their communities and around the world.

District 5390 Foundation is pleased to announce that $4,240 has been donated to date to the fund.

If you would like to make a gift to this fund in Carl's memory, simply click on the "donate" button below and follow the instructions.
