Next Week in Rotary

This week our District Governor, Sandy Carlson, will be checking in with Rotary Club of Great Falls. Join us at noon at the country club or on Zoom!

Your Rotary board also meets on Tuesday at 5:30 p.m.

Last Week at Rotary

In lieu of a sit-down lunch and a speaker, Rotarians picked up a sack lunch at the country club last week and piked up trash along the river. Kurt Baltrusch braved the winds to do river clean-up in a kayak. The others picked up trash between Oddfellows Park and the horseshoe pits in Riverside Park.

In addition to a half-barrel of plastic products, Rotarians found prescription medication, a walking cast, a huge cow bone, and a driver's license with several credit cards, the latter turned into the police.

Thanks to the following Rotarians who are cleaning our community up, one trek at a time: Megan Connors, Shim Abbasi, Cari Yturri, Chuck and Gerry Jennings, Jesse Mahugh, Kurt Baltrusch, Bill Bronson, Gregg Holt, and Art Taft.

Milestones

Just one birthday this week, but what an addition to Rotary Club of Great Falls the celebrant has been! Best wishes on Sunday to Heidi Hockett. May the year to come be your best year yet!

Updates

The recent proposal to change the check approval process in the bylaws passed, 40-1. The concern of the one member voting in opposition has been forwarded to President Megan Connors.

The Bylaws Committee has now completed its review of the club constitution and bylaws, both of which documents have been forwarded to the club officers. Thanks to Bill Bronson, Mary Moe, and Mike Rausch for serving on the committee ... and to all members for participating in the process.
