CMR HOSA members Hallie Buffington and Caroline Hermiller
Hallie and Caroline's HOSA project, a sticker of braille to go over the nurse call light for visually impaired patients.
HOSA students sharing their project that has advanced them to a national challenge of future health professionals. Led by their Instructor Ms. Christi Virts, these young entrepreneurs are working to patent a braille sticker for patient call lights. Easily removable and therefore sanitary and quickly removable between patients.
Hallie and Caroline with our President Elect and stand in for the day Lewis Card.
One more time, lets take a look at this amazing idea these kids came up with. Let's make sure Lew keeps us posted on their success with this!
We had a guest Rotarian today. Welcome Mike McClintock from Anacortes, WA. He was in the area to visit his dad. While traveling through, he joined us for lunch and brought his club flag. It appeared he had a great visit with Judge as well as this visit with Lewis.
This is Camp Rotary post snow storm after the first camp clean up day. John and all of our other dedicated Rotarians went back out to the camp to clear the fallen trees and debris. The only half good news to come from this was the power company needed access before Rotary did so they cleared most of the fallen trees from the road before our volunteers headed out there. Contractors will be headed out to do the needed repairs. John has also reached out to the fire service to get a fire break created around the camp as soon as possible this year.
Amazingly, this is right around the corner, everyone! Hopefully by then no one will need their raincoats and galoshes to go but even if you do, who's up for an adventure?! Everyone join in and let's have some fun.
