Habitat for Humanity International was established in 1976. Housing has been provided for over 1 million people. It has affiliates in all 50 U.S. states and operates in 100 countries worldwide.

Our Great Falls Habitat for Humanity is a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit organization that was formed in 1991. They have provided housing for 46 families, and rely on volunteers, donations, and grants. Family selection process is with sweat equity requirements. Homes are sold at cost with low interest or no interest mortgages. Homes are built with donated labor and materials. These homes provide stability for families and allows families to break free from the cycle of poverty. A permanent, stable living situation results in improved academics and job performance.

Restore opened in 2005 and is a nonprofit thrift store which accepts donations of new and gently used furniture, appliances, and building supplies.  The proceeds from this store go towards building homes for Habitat for Humanity. Each donation and purchase help make a difference.
