Donny Gerhart is a mentor for Veterans Mentoring Veterans. He is a military veteran who served in the Persian Gulf War and was with the GFPD for 26 years.  Veterans Mentoring Veterans' mission is to aid and assist all veterans in their struggle to reestablish themselves in their community and in themselves. The vision is an organization that provides support through empowerment and encouragement to help all veterans and their families live higher quality lives. They work on many initiates to assist veterans in our community.

 

They host a veteran's breakfast quarterly. The next breakfast is on May 9, 2025 from 700am-900am at Alliance for the Youth. It is free for all veterans, military and family members. (Donations welcome). For more information call (406) 868-7388. 

 

They will also have a veterans walk on September 13, 2025 in which all community members are welcome.
