Fentanyl was the topic of our Jan. 3rd meeting. GFPD brought us up to date on why it's killing a lot of their users (quality control) and why it's such a profitable drug for dealers (cost 5 cents to make, distributors buy it for a dollar and re-sells for up to $50 a pill in Montana. Just say no!
Nicole Evans brought us the culture of modern art and its importance to our community at the Jan 10th meeting. We are indeed fortunate to have The Square Museum of Modern Art working hard to keep our artistic senses focused.
On January 17, Dr. Curtis Settergren will introduce us to one of the most isolated countries of the world. Mustang is a district of Nepal, wedged between Nepal and China, is only accessible by foot or horseback. The people and culture are well suited for this high altitude and hostile climate.
YOUR INPUT PLEASE
Our club has been asked to assume sponsorship of a Cub Scout Pack. Our Board of Directors is currently conducting due diligence to decide whether this would be a worthwhile endeavor for the Club. Information is still being obtained and the membership will be consulted again very soon. Any questions or concerns should be directed to Club secretary Bill Bronson ASAP.
