Leadership Great Falls, Great Falls Chamber and Eagle mount!
AJ Graf From DA Davidson and Great Falls Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Great Falls. AJ let's us know how we can help support Leadership in buying a tractor for Eagle Mount.
Morgan, The Therapeutic Riding Instructor at Eagle Mount talks about the challenges of being the solo staff to handle several tasks at the foundation and how much the tractor purchase will mean to her and Eagle Mount.
Katherine from Great Falls Chamber of Commerce joins to discuss what the Chamber does for our community as well as what Leadership Great Falls involves and how to start your two year adventure with them if you would like.
Our three speakers educated us on several things. AJ encouraged everyone to support raising the funds for the Eagle Mount tractor. They are two thirds of the way there. There is still time if you would like to buy raffle tickets, get in touch with him or Eagle Mount to find out how. I am sure Lew Card can point you in AJ's direction as well. Morgan gave us so much interesting information on what Eagle Mount is and what they do. The company does recreational activities with individuals who have disabilities. The program has worked with people ranging in age from six months old all the way up to one hundred and two years old. They have several programs, including a new program they have integrated medical students into called Em-Pact. Katherine shared great details about leadership, and the classes members get to embark on monthly, which involve learning about several different industries in our community. Once you have completed this you get to enjoy a group retreat as part of your graduation. That is your first year, the second year in the program you get to be an ambassador for new members in Leadership and help shape the program to make sure the next group gets to see and learn those things you thought of while you were in your journey.
