Chuck Jennings the Guatemala Project Chair discusses our International WASH project. $2,500 from our club has been committed to this project.
The funds will go to send high school students, either from Spanish classes or possibly Rotaract students to Guatemala to help with the WASH program. Experience the culture and volcano climb.

ANNOUNCEMENTS:
Dean announced that we took 4th place in the bell ringing for Salvation Army, with $1,384 raised.

This months volunteer services are with United Way and Homelessness. Assisting with the Continuum of Care. Assisting Gary Owen with surveying our homeless population in Great Falls. Please reach out to Dean Jardee to sign up to assist. There will be two shifts available for this activity. This will be a great opportunity to meet some of our less fortunate community members and learn what life is like for them.

Dear Montana Rotarian;

As you may be aware, two districts in our Big West zone are currently facing devastating wildfires and severe winds. The Pacific Palisades community has been especially hard-hit, with over 10,000 homes, businesses, and other structures reported lost. The fires continue to advance toward Malibu and Santa Monica, showing no signs of slowing.

Our Rotarian friends in these affected areas need our support during this critical time. They are asking for assistance in the following ways:
1. Disaster Relief Funds: Contributions will help provide immediate aid to those in need.
2. Volunteer Opportunities: There is an urgent need for volunteers to assist with relief efforts.
3. Wildfire Resource Directory: A coordinated resource page has been set up to provide information and direct assistance where it's needed most.

If you can contribute or lend your time, please visit  https://rotary5280.org/page/2025-wildfire-disaster-relief/  for more information and to get involved.

Thank you for standing with our Rotarian community during this challenging time. Together, we make a difference.
