This Week - and Next - at Rotary

This week we'll hear from Tasha Harp Kennedy, who will tell us about Australia's export business. It's sure to be fascinating!

Since there will be no bulletin next week, we announce here that our January 5 meeting will feature Dr. Cattaneo, who will give us an update on his project in Ethiopia. Last year, flanked by presidents past and future (see photo), Dr. Cattaneo celebrated receiving our hefty check for his project in Ethiopia, a project that has since become one of the major emphases of Tim Peterson's presidency.

Celebrate the end of one year and the beginning of the next by joining fellow Rotarians at our weekly meeting at the country club!

Rotarians Are ... Making History!

In preparation for our 100-Year Celebration, Rotarians have been going back in time to learn about our early years.

Headed up by Kurt Baltrusch, a few Rotarians, including Bob Holter (pictured with Kurt here) and Mark Finnicum, have been visiting the History Museum on a weekly basis to collect news stories about Rotary Club of Great Falls from nearly a century ago. They've been archiving the stories photographically in order to create some displays at our 100 Year Anniversary Banquet on March 4.

The material is fascinating, but we have a lot of ground to cover in just 10 weeks. If you'd like to help with the "archive project," please let Kurt know.

Reminders

There will be no Rotary E-Bulletin next week.

There will be no Rotary Social this month.

The directors of Rotary Club of Great Falls will have their monthly board meeting on Tuesday, Jan. 5, at 4:30 at the L'Heureux Page Warner offices.

Start planning now for the 100 Year Anniversary Celebration on Friday, March 4, at the country club! An evening to remember!

Weekly Wisdom to Inform New Year's Resolutions

In the end only three things matter:  how much you loved, how gently you lived, and how gracefully you let go of things not meant for you.
