Jim Bennett, from the Montana Community Foundation came to speak to our Rotary Club about our new Great Falls Rotary Foundation Endowment at our April 14, 2026 meeting. We have created an endowment to secure the financial security of Camp Rotary. Ways to give to the Great Falls Rotary Endowment include giving cash, stocks, bonds, mutual funds, gifts of real estate, personal property. A Montana taxpayer who makes a Planned Gift to a qualified endowment can earn a Montana tax credit of 40% of the charitable value of the gift, up to $15,000 per year. Couples filing jointly can earn up to a $30,000 credit and businesses can make a direct cash contribution, but only receive a credit for 20% of the gift.
